Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' held a key meeting to discuss present situation, online education and implementation of NEP. No decision on CBSE Class 12 Board Exams 2021 announced.
Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank held a key meeting with the Education Secretaries of all states. The union minister discussed at length the present situation, online education, preparedness of all states regarding the same as well as implementation of National Education Policy, NEP 2020.
While many were speculating an announcement regarding CBSE 12th Board Exams 2021, no announcement regarding the same was made. Though the ministry has not agreed to cancellation of the examinations, it hasn't dismissed the same. Earlier on Friday the Education Ministry had shared that the decision on CBSE exams is expected by May 24, 25. CBSE had also announced on Friday that no decision has been taken as yet and once confirmed, the same would be duly notified to the public.
Apart from the CBSE Class 12 Board Exams 2021, discussion on the on-going situation was the primary focus of the meeting. Education has been impacted for all students in the country. From nursery admissions to PhD level courses, every student and scholar has been impacted due to lockdowns and delays in the examination.
